My 318,000 word novel may seem like it starts a little slow, but after the first 100 pages or so it really picks up steam, so I hope you will be patient and not be distracted.Take heart prod/devel execs - it's not just us! Those folks over in the book world get them too, and this funny blog highlights some of one agent's best worst query letters.
Which gave me an idea. Send me your most awful query letters and I'll post one a week (all names will be changed, of course). The winner will get the support and sympathy of his/her colleagues - which, when you think about it, is truly priceless. Besides, I don't have any money to give away.
